Dinghy Woes

Old Mazatlan Marina
Woke up this morning to a missing dinghy. Very foggy last night and the line to the dinghy was cut. Off to report it as stolen, just going through the motions as we know it is gone now.
So we are without our "car" but looking for the silver lining, God must have something good in store for us.

Cruisers are great, everyone is volunteering to give us rides, and may have a canoe we can borrow till we get a replacement.

SAD FACE

  1. That stinks large. Was the dinghy floating behind the boat overnight? Just finished reading an article on dinghy thefts. The gist of it was that inflatables are five times more likely to be stolen than rigid. Five hp motors are the most stolen. It advised that the best theft deterent was to always hoist the dinghy on deck or at least suspended it out of the water (with the boom or whatever) overnight. A deck light also helps. Info is a little late, I know. Sorry.
Yin and Yang. Good things offset setbacks. Something good is coming...
